Pork Shank
This was excellent. Very tasty. Definitely come back to try other menu items. Also had coco bread and trini mac pie. Service timely, didn't feel rushed or waiting excessively for the next course. Atmosphere was casual and relaxing.
Blue Crab and Blue Grits
The food was uniquely superb, and the portions were large…large enough to take home enough leftovers for another meal! The staff was efficient and welcoming.! The decor was lovely and the musician was excellent.
Pork Shank
Hands down the most delicious and tender pork dish I have ever eaten! The perfect amount of spice in every bite.
Blue Crab and Blue Grits
One of the best dishes I've had in a long long time! Everything was perfect- texture, consistency, taste, presentation. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!
Jerk Oxtails
A medley of delicious flavors in a sizable portion. I may have to order this again at my next visit. Service, atmosphere and all the food items are superb.
The O.G. Biscuit sando
First time visiting but, will not be the last. All of the brunch food that we ordered was outstanding. The portions were large. The service was great and the musician was a nice touch.
Coco Bread
Our dinner was truly unforgettable! My boyfriend and I made a trip from Florida to dine for dinner at Okan. Each dish we ordered bursted with familiar and new flavors that comforted and inspired each of us. We thoroughly enjoyed discussing each component of our dishes. We were in awe of how the flavors, which span from Carribbean, West African and even South Carolina were all beautifully orchestrated together. When you enter the restaurant you notice every aspect of dining at Okan is thoughtfully planned out. The music, the atmosphere, the staff, and of course the food were perfect. We will be remembering this dinner for a long time, easily our favorite dinner we have ate yet! Thank you Okan!
Berbere Octopus
The Berbere Octopus was amazing! Excellent taste and paired very well with the Jollof Rice! Highly recommend these dishes! Our waitress was amazing, she new the menu and had great recomendations!
Millet Breakfast Bowl
This is the best brunch I've ever had! I hate going out to eat for breakfast/brunch because the food is always underwhelming and overpriced and there's nothing new and interesting on the menu. Okan brunch is incredible and offers dishes I couldn't easily make at home, and for such a reasonable price! Now I want to come every Sunday! Highly recommend!!
Millet Breakfast Bowl
This meal was delish!! We have gone to Okan numerous times and will keep coming back!! Service was AWESOME!
